Sarah Clark

Program Manager, International Resilience Lab

Sarah Clark is the Program Manager for the International Resilience Lab. Sarah has a BS in Biological Sciences from the University of Notre Dame and a Master's Degree in Development Practice from the University of Arizona. As such, her professional and research interests lie at the intersections between environmental and human well-being in the field of international development. Prior to joining the International Resilience Lab, Sarah worked with the US Peace Corps, Catholic Relief Services, Southwest Decision Resources, and the US Environmental Protection Agency. She has worked on projects based in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Caribbean, South Asia, and in the United States.

Sarah is committed to advancing understanding and support for socially engaged research and practices that build resilience and facilitate transformative change in global communities as they respond to the cascading impacts of environmental change and shifting, unequal hazard landscapes. Relatedly, Sarah is interested in transdisciplinary methods, collaborative governance, and facilitation for climate adaptation and resilience and how varied community perspectives and concerns can be better integrated to direct multi-stakeholder adaptation planning.
